And the Doc says...

We're having another BOY!!!! I was a little surprised, but excited none the less! I'm excited for Eli to have a brother to run around with and do things with. Plus, I love my Eli soooo much, how could I not be excited about having another boy!

I know...I said I wasn't going to say anything, but I decided it really didn't matter! Why wouldn't I want everyone to share in our excitment of having a boy! So...that's what it is! Now....to come up with a name!!!!

My daughter-in-law has a baby book that tells what sibling names go good with another name. Their little girl's name is Emeri and one of the sibling name picks for it is Eli, which I thought was interesting! I can't recall what the name of the book is and I do not know how they think they have the corner on what sibling names go with what but it was kind of interesting. If you are interested, I can get the name of the book for you.

Congratulations!!! I love having two boys in a row. They may fight sometimes, but they are also the best of friends! (plus you have lots of hand-me-down clothes!)=)

One time, a coworker of Marc's said that her OB said that it is much more likely to have two children of the same sex. Marc and I have since thought of various couples we know, and we definitely know more people who either have two or more girls OR two or more boys. So, you and Aaron are now fitting that same theory. Who knows? Maybe someday, we'll join you with another boy. Ultimately, I'm very excited for you both either way.

P.S. yes, the name is important but keep in mind no tongue twisters! Ben and Jake (Jacob) aren't names with a lot of syllabels but I still manage to mix them up. Finally (when I am beyond frustrated) I have resorted to "which ever one I am looking at, come here." How is that for conscious discipline!?! :)
