bath time

The boys had their first bath together the other morning! We were needing to get them done fast, so I threw them both in at the same time. I really had to talk to Eli before about making sure not to splash Cole and get water in his face. He did great! It made me a little nervous, so I'll probably wait to do it again when Cole is bigger!!

Eli officially has a "big boy room!"
All, but a few, toys have been moved downstairs to the toy room.

Even the toy box is out!

I was getting so tired of everything all over the floor and books falling off the shelves. It was time to get it cleaned up.

I bought a basket for all of his books and a little pillow to lay on when we read them! There is also a basket with some toys that he does play with under the table. Now his room is cleaned out and more funcitonal for him. He didn't even play with the toys that were in his room!

It makes me so happy to walk into his room all cleaned up and organized!!

3 months

Wow...I can't believe Cole is 3 months old today!

He's getting so big!

He loves to play with Eli...he smiles so big every time Eli talks to him!

He likes to play on the floor and grab at his toys. He has tried to roll over, but luckily he wasn't successful. I'm not ready for that!

We LOVE that smile! You are such a blessing to our family. We love you so much!

Look what I can do...

Cole LOVES to lay and play on this thing! We take it anywhere we can!

Just this past week, he's been noticing his hands. He really looks and them and watches them wave all around. Now he can really look at the toys hanging and he's been grabbing them. He gets ahold of those things and goes to town shaking them and pulling on them.

I love to watch him. He just kicks away and smiles and thinks he's pretty cool stuff!

Everyone says that Eli and Cole look identical. I notice differences in them...but you be the judge!

Eli learned this song in Sunday school and we hear it A LOT!!!! But what a great song to hear all the time!!

2 months

Wow...I can't believe my little baby is 2 months old! He's getting so big!

He loves to hang out with his brother and listen to him. Any time Eli is around, he's watching him closely! He is such a happy baby. Cole loves to smile and talk to you! He's sleeping through the night...most nights!
At his 2 month appointment we weighed 11 pounds and checked out great!
We love you so much Cole and so does your brother. You are such a blessing to us and a precious gift from God.

Have you ever had this many kids on 1 couch before??

We had our Community Life Group over for a Halloween party! There were 5 couples and 9 kids. All kids were between the ages of 2 months old and 3 years old. Can you imagine 5 mom's in the background taking pictures?? I believe at one point we were singing "If you're happy and you know it" to get their attention!!!! Craziness!!! It was so much fun!!!
