A big milestone!

Yep, Cole is walking!

He's been walking a little bit for a while.

But now he's got it down pretty good!

He still likes to crawl, but tries walking first!

He's faster at crawling!

Babies walking are so cute!

(Excuse Eli yelling in the background! He gets so excited for Cole!!)

11 months

Wow...I can't believe that in less than a month my little baby will be 1!!

His first year has seemed to fly by way faster than Eli's did...not sure why?!

Cole has been the PERFECT addition to our family!

It's working...

We have been struggling with Eli getting out of bed at night.

Some nights he would get up 3-4 times.

Nothing's wrong, he just wonders into our room and then I have to get up and take him back to bed.

Yes, me. If Aaron tries, he cries and screams.

So, we put a gate up infront of his door!

And, it's been working!

He doesn't wake up and yell from his room, which is what I thought would happen.

The only time he gets up is in the morning.
Yay!!

I told him after a few nights we would take the gate down and see how he does.

We'll try soon!

I don't know...does it seem cruel??!!

splash park

So we have been meaning to come to the splash park all summer and have never made it! Since it's been 100+ degrees outside, we thought tonight would be a good time!

We tried to go to the Newton one, but it wasn't working!

Imagine that...the first summer it's open and it's not working! Nice!

So, we had some tears and decided we better head to Hesston.

It was fun!

There was only 1 other kid there most of the time...even better!!

I love seeing him so excited!!

Cole did a lot of roaming! He didn't like the water at first, but then he wasn't afraid of crawling right through it!! Yes, I know the onsie hanging out of his suit is a little "ugly", but that's what happens when you let Daddy dress them!!
Yes, Cole is walking some!! He can take up to 10 steps, but them still likes to crawl! Cement is so hard on the knees!

6 years ago today, I married my best friend!

We have grown a lot as a couple...you know when you're "young" you think everything will be so easy!!!

I love him more every day.

He is a great Daddy to our boys and a great example of a man following Christ.

I love you, Aaron!

(Wow, look how young we look!! I never thought I would say that!)
What a great day it was!!! So much fun!

The thing I remember most about our wedding: Aaron forgot to throw his gum away and he was chomping on it through out the WHOLE ceremony!!

(He was so nervous!)

That this cute little onsie had a tail!!

We went to the Pittsburg Zoo and I always get the boys shirts when we go to other zoos.

Cole got this cute giraffe onsie and I didn't realize it had a tail on the bottom!

So cute!

swim lessons

I decided to have Eli start swim lessons this summer.
He is such a little fish and loves to be in the water so I wanted him to start learning what to do!

He did great!

He listen so well to Cathy and by the end of his sessions he was practically doing a back and front float on his own.

(She would hold him with 1 finger b/c the minute she'd take it away he would stop!)

He did so well that I'm going to do 3 more session in a couple weeks just to refresh him!
