What a great day!

Have you ever had one of those days where you just wish you could have over and over? Today was a great day. We started our Sunday at church, which is always a great way to start the day! Came home and Eli took a great nap. Then we went to take pictures with my brother and his wife, along with my mom and dad. It was so gorgeous outside (67 degrees and NO wind!), when we were done we took Eli to the park. He was SO excited. It always makes you happy when you see that your child is so happy! We played hard on all the slides and stuff they had.

Love swinging! But that didn't last too long, he wanted to run!!

Yes...they had these when I was little!

Aaron put him down the tube slide and this is how he came out! Head first and on his back! Eli's words to describe this: "wow!"

Notice Aaron is holding onto his jacket!

Eli was a little nervous about going down this slide by himself. So Aaron went down with him!

Then Eli got brave enough to do it himself!
This would be how excited Eli was to be at the park! He was basically screaming the whole time!

Then we walked around the park. Eli's favorite words are, "What's that?" So you can imagine what we heard the entire walk!! I love that he's learning so much every day!

After we got home, we headed to our neighbors for our weekly Sunday supper. Because it was so nice out, we ate our supper outside. Again, Eli played so hard! One of our neighbors has their daughter and 2 year old granddaughter living with them. Eli loves to play with Cambri and she's so good with him! We literally walked in the door at 8 tonight, threw Eli in the bath and he went to bed. He's had 2 good nights of playing hard. Hopefully he'll get some good sleep!!

So anyways, it was a great day. The sun was out, there wasn't a wind....it was just beautiful. As we were outside enjoying it, I couldn't help but thank God for giving us such a great day to enjoy. He must have known I was in need of a day like this!
